Pizza again? Hmmm, doesn't sound too bad!

Haha that's right, President allowed me to stay a little bit longer here in the promise land of Napoli Va bene. This week we were able to go to Rome and see Elder Ballard. It was an amazing and spiritual experience,  he talked a lot about missionary work and how we can go out and find people who are ready to teach. He is definitely an intelligent man and a man of God. I feel so blessed to have had this opportunity to hear an apostle of the Lord. We also saw some Americans this week and had some rain. Besides that, it was a pretty normal week. For P-day we made are way to the 'Veiled Christ'.

Well today I would like to share a quick scripture with you all! In the Book of 2 Nephi chapter 27:23 it says "For behold, I am God; and I am a God of miracles; and I will show unto the world that I am the same yesterday, today, and forever; and I work not among the children of men save it be according to their faith." It's pretty cool to think that God still works in miracles, just like He did in times of old! We just have to have the faith!

I Love you guys! Have a good week.

Wow! What. A. Week.

Where should I start this time? It felt like we were moving 100 mph. This week we were able to go to the hospital and meet up with one of our investigators. His wife just had a baby and they are so excited. We weren't able to see the baby but we were able to meet his wife and she is a very nice lady. Then we had a meal appointment with one of our good friends, Mario. He has known the missionaries for ever, and he is just a riot. He fed us his Napolitano lasagna, which was sooo good. Saturday was a day to remember....  We started getting ready for the baptism, setting up this tiny font in the primary room, haha, mamma mia it isn't the easiest thing to build, but we got the job done. Then we proceeded with the baptism, which was amazing. The spirit was so strong, the changes our investigator has made has been amazing. He really is such a good guy. Then right after the baptism we had our branch party! It was a blast. We had a ton of games and of course a ton of food. We ended up getting an investigator who came and loved it! The potential investigator even came to church the next day. Tons of miracles came from this branch activity and it was so cool to see the branch really bond!

This week I was able to study a little bit about hope. Hope is an interesting word. In a worldly sense we use the word "hope" for something we want to happen, but we know most likely will not. Using the word hope in more scriptural sense or I guess you could say "spiritual sense", it takes on a much stronger meaning. Hope means "we have an abiding trust that the Lord will fulfill His promises to you" (Preach My Gospel).  We are confident that everything will happen for the best. If we have hope we can approach trials and problems in our lives knowing that everything will be okay. I encourage everyone to have hope in Christ and His Atonement!

I Love you guys!

Great Friends!

Fall is just around the corner here in Italy and I would dare to say that it's my second favorite season (only because skiing usually happens in the winter). This week I did a scambio with Anziano Ruiz and that was a blast. Anziano Pesci also came back to pick up his permesso (what allows you to stay in Italy) so he hung out with us for a couple of days. It's always fun to have other missionaries around!

We met a great guy earlier this week who has a pretty big interest in the gospel. You can definitely tell he is prepared to listen to our message.

One of our investigators will be baptized this Saturday.  We will have the wonderful opportunity to watch someone who has made the necessary changes in his life to be baptized and recieve the Holy Ghost. It's been really amazing to watch his conversion process and how much he has prepared and given up for the gospel. Making those changes in life isn't always the easiest thing to do and it that takes a lot of faith. Through faith we see people change and miracles happen. Through faith the blind were able to see again, through faith the armies of Heleman overcame battles where there where more men, older men, and probably stronger as well. But they put their faith and trust in God and miracles followed. "With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible"!(Mark 10:27) Through our faith in Christ we can overcome any obstacle life throws at us, overcome any trial that just seems too much, and accomplish things we never thought were possible.

Well love you guys! Hope everyone has a good week!
